Frequently Asked Questions

What is WikiDM?

Leaders in the Social Development Sector are entrusted to address complex social issues, often referred to as ‘wicked’ problems and increasingly now, at scale. Furthermore, the ecosystem in which Social Purpose Organisations function, is changing rapidly, with growing inequities, the climate crisis, and a large population without access to basic needs. This change, however, has brought about the opportunity to transform the paradigm, creating space for all to thrive and flourish. Social Purpose Organisations, therefore, have a moral imperative to build their leadership and management skills to be able to create the future in a systemic, collaborative, and regenerative way.

Based on the findings of PWIT Report of Bridgespan, Social Impact Multipliers: Leadership Development for Indian Social Sector Report by ISDM and Sattva and a preliminary survey of 280+ Development Sector Professionals, this live repository of digital resources has been curated based on 14 domains/areas identified as needs for Capacity Building and Organisational Development of NGO—Organisational Management and Culture, Human Resources, Finances and Accounting, Communications, Marketing, Advocacy, Operations Management, and many more. It aims to be a live repository of curated high-quality digital creative commons resources, contextualised to the Indian Social Impact ecosystem,
